How We Serve...
Cancer Kids for Christ joins hands across the nation with people in your local community to form a unique team of volunteers willing to serve and support your needs. Because we understand the constant struggle and battle that comes with cancer, it is our goal to be available as your most critical needs arise. In most cases people from local churches or community outreach centers are assigned to assist each child and family.

At a corporate level, CKC, located in the Atlanta Metropolitan area has the opportunity to reach over 300 children per year whom are treated in the south's largest children's hospital system. Furthermore, we hope to reach children and their families with fun and exciting events designed to bring further comfort and joy into the lives of the children and their families.

By letting our team be aware of your fight we hope to be able to serve in the following ways:

• Prayer - Most importantly, we will lift your needs up to Lord in Prayer. In extreme times of difficulty Prayer Vigils can be mobilized locally centered around your child's urgent needs. 
• Counseling Services - We understand that sometimes you only need an ear and a friend so a specialized local team is assigned to be available. In other cases deep questions arise during the fight against cancer and our team is trained to encouraged and offer biblical truth.
• Home and Hospital Visitation - Our Team is available for support where ever you may find yourself. Mom's and Dad's also need breaks and a Team member can be made available to sit with your child periodically during hospital stays.
• Meals - Meals are quite often a last thought when returning home from treatment. We will work with local Team Members to assist with meals as needed.
• Household Chores - Just as with meals, the home too can be neglected. We will arrange specialized Team Members to assist in areas of the home as needed.
