Cancer Kids for Christ (CKC) is an organization focused on giving children battling cancer and their families hope and joy through the glorious ministry of Jesus Christ.

Cancer Kids for Christ Mission is to bring comfort, hope and joy to children with cancer and their families by practically serving them through a Christ centered support team focused solely on meeting their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Our hope is that we are able to comfort each family with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 2 Corinthians 1:4, paraphrased.

Our primary goal is to touch each child with specific prayer for both their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Each child and their caregivers uniquely suffer in their battle with cancer. In order to understand and meet the needs of these individuals we educate members of their own church community on the impact of childhood cancer and thus create a dedicated support system for each child and their family. Furthermore, CKC reaches out to anyone regardless of religious preference with support and guidance through Christ's love. Our volunteer staff is trained to interact with people of all faiths and backgrounds with the intent of bringing hope and joy to the children and their families.

The cornerstone for the CKC organization is Jesus Christ as the son of God and His teachings. All programs, events and care are provided with the following foundational principles. 

1.     God’s Will:  CKC is to be a Christ centered organization which puts God and his purpose first. Discerning His purpose requires prayer and patience. At no time will CKC move without a clear direction from God.

2.     Prayer and Truth:  CKC will create simple processes and programs for reaching children and their families with support and prayer for each of their specific needs. All programs and teachings must be supported by biblical truth and cannot contradict the word of God.

3.     Great Commission:  CKC is open to all people both Christian and Non-Christian alike with the hope of turning non-believers to Christ.

4.     The Body:  CKC will employ the unity of the Body of Christ to reach the children and their families thus creating a far reaching volunteer support system.
